Did you have someone special to the point of thinking he’s the one? Relate things with me through this short story of mine.
“I used to have the hold of the wheel. I was the captain of my own ship. He used to be in charge of the anchor, stopping the ship from getting farther. I used to be the decision maker, and he was the one to judge, then stop me from committing mistakes. But then, the ship won’t move with procrastination. There was no moving forward with someone stuck at the middle of the ocean. It all became disastrous when I lost my grip to the wheel, then at the same time, he lost control of the anchor, like we both slipped what we had from our hands. Together, we both made a hole through the ship, so it can sink down. Together, we sunk with the ship. The ship as our love that never improved, and the wheel with the anchor to remember what we once had. At least, we’re still friends.”
When you had something important at your grip, think twice before you let go. You might end up regretting. Just like me.
